Lunar Shadows

Lunar Shadows by QKV

From the outer reaches of the ancient Universe to a modern psychiatric hospital in Las Vegas, Lunar Shadows is an epic odyssey exploring themes of migration and displacement, and notions of identity and belonging.

Set against a mythological backdrop and comprising the unruly union of two earlier dance works – Patient 319 & Lunar Orbits – this new full length performance is a turbulent clash of fiction and autobiography, immersing the audience in a dark psychological thriller.

Lunar Shadows features an original score by composer Philip Feeney, designs by Ruta Irbite, dramaturgy by Debbie Hannan, lighting design by David Ball, and dancers Rachele Rapisardi, Daniel Phung, Laura Lorenzi and Quang Kien Van.

Produced by Step Out Arts. Supported by Greenwich Dance, Rich Mix Theatre, Chinese Arts Space & China Exchange. Sponsored by Pure Essentials London.

Made with Grants for the Arts funding from Arts Council England.
